I attended University of Washington for my undergraduate degree in Psychology. I then pursued a Masters in Nursing at Yale University in Psychiatric-Mental Health. I am a licensed and board certified family psychiatric nurse practitioner with prescriptive authority specializing in psychiatric medication management. I have a special interest in treating anxiety disorders, depression, and ADHD.

I practice based on the belief that everybody has the power to create positive change in their lives. One of the most important factors that foster change is the relationship between the provider and the client. Therefore, I strive to develop a genuine therapeutic relationship with each and every client based on a foundation of empathy and understanding. With a focus on recovery and wellness, I employ a holistic approach and treat the whole person, not the mental illness. Pharmacological interventions can open the door to creating sustained change by allowing you to become more receptive to therapy. It can also help in situations where symptoms are affecting your quality of life and/or impairing your functioning. I utilize a collaborative approach where I work in partnership with you in order to develop an individualized treatment plan that addresses all facets of your life. I provide medication management tailored to meet your needs. My approach goes beyond symptom relief to helping clients maximize their strengths and empowering them to create lasting change in their lives. In my free time, I enjoy visiting family and friends, playing piano, writing music, and baking.
